Civil War Unit

This is an eleven lesson unit that covers causes, effects, events, and people of the civil war.  After we completed the unit, the students worked on an iMovie presentation of the essential questions. They dressed up and preformed skits to answer each question. It was a big hit.

Fractions:  An EveryDay Math Unit

In this unit, students will focus on using equivalent fractions to add and subtract fractions.  Students will also get into the multiplication of fractions in this unit as they create rectangular models to help out.

In this unit, students will have the opportunity to explore the relationship between fractions, decimals, and percents.  They will also be given a chance to “spend a million dollars” in a fun culminating project.
